Helping Hospitals be Magnetic

Formed in June 2009, NJCOMO looks at how the state’s facilities can help one another in achieving professional excellence, not only in the Magnet process, but also in other endeavors.

NJCOMO, uses a well developed coaching program, where a Magnet facility is matched with one looking to achieve Magnet. Organizations are paired together according to location and logistics, such as facility size and structure.

From there organizations are given the tools needed to become an aspiring Magnet organization, and the wisdom on how to maintain that Magnet status.
